Nigerians across the country have raised their voice on the rate at which trucks belonging to Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote is killing them in their hundreds.

to be a source of blessings to Nigerians is now turning into a curse as
the companies kills people at the slightest mistake.
The instances are alarming
According to CKN Nigeria record obtained from relevant traffic authorities in Nigeria is eye bulging.
Today a Dangote truck had a head on collision at Okene with a golf car with all the occupants of the Golf car heading towards Okene still trapped beneath the truck with virtually no rescue in sight.All the occupants of the car died on the spot
When the Head Corporate Communications of Dangote Group, Tony Chijene was contacted, he described the incident as unfortunate.
He said his company is also worried with the recent crashes involving Dangote truck saying that was why the company advertised for graduate drivers (about 2000) to replace existing ones.
So far over 13,000 people have applied including about Nine Phd holders.
In his words, once we are through in three weeks’ time with the recruitment, a new programme will be drawn and training held for them on the best practice.
Its left to be seen how long Nigerians can hold their peace before the Dangote truck monster is brought to a minimal level.
It will be recalled that Dangote trucks in the past has killed hundreds of Nigerians in Lagos,Ogun,Kwara,Kogi and several parts of the country
